HiFi Amplifiers
The
first High Fidelity amplifier I built was a resistor loaded parallel
feed circuit. This circuit sounded so good that for many years I
could not build a better sounding hifi amp. Since then I focus on Single Ended designs to find the ultimate sound.
The Mars Stereo SE integrated amplifier

- 30 watts Class A total musical power
- KT88 tetrode output tubes.
- Switchable Triode and Ultra Linear modes

The Mars Stereo Push-Pull
integrated amplifier
When it comes to push-pull circuits, the miniature pentode EL84 types is
our tube of choice. We acquired some Partridge Ultra Linear
output tranformers and designed a balanced circuit around them that
sounded better than we expected. And this amp makes a reluctant speaker
sing.

- Miniature pentode (EL821) output tubes
- 6J5, 6SN7GT pre-amplifier tubes
- 5U4 rectifier tube
- Polished aluminium chassis
